OSHA standards, including those for personal protective equipment (PPE, 29 CFR 1910.132) and respiratory protection (29 CFR 1910.134), require employers to assess the hazards to which their workers may be exposed. (OSHA)
The OSHA regulations have not changed due to COVID-19. They still apply to all health and safety hazards, including hazards to employees on remote sites. Presumably that includes employees working at home.
Have you informed your field service team what health and safety risks they may find on-site today?
Are your home workers healthy and safe?
Are your field teams following procedures, to stay safe? Did they get the work completed? Did they get safely home? Are they fit to work tomorrow?
Are you meeting your OSHA compliance obligations today?
If you are not sure….
